Nairobi region police boss James Mugera confirmed police killed one person in a botched robbery. He said a pistol was found on him. He said the man was in the company of three others and had been attacking and robbing pedestrians in the morning of the fateful day when an alarm was raised, alerting undercover officers on patrol.
