Police confirmed killing one man Tuesday evening in Nairobi county. The deceased is said together with accomplices who managed to escape attacked a police officer in plainclothes at Jamhuri cemetry. Police had put an ambush following complaints from members of public that a gang of three had been attacking and robbing pedestrians in the area when police were alerted and laid an ambush while riding a bicycle. Kilimani police chief Muturi Mbogo confirmed the killing.
