According to a story published by Kenyans.co.ke, police in Kericho County through the county criminal investigations officer John Onyango confirmed shooting and killing 3 people on December 11,2021. The police had laid ambush at Kapsurer trading center after suspecting the five were part of a gang that staged robberies in Kericho. Onyango said the occupants of the suspected car defied orders to stop. That is when police chased them and sprayed their car with bullets killing the trio. N.B.
