The Director of Criminal Investigations George Kinoti has confirmed police on patrol Saturday February 19 shot and killed one person in Nairobi county, Kawangware. He said the deceased with others accosted a man and robbed him during the 9:30 PM incident. He said the victim’s screams of despair attracted the cops who were on patrol along Kabiru road. The deceased was allegedly part of a gang that was robbing pedestrians of their valuables that day. Kinoti said other gang members escaped with gunshot wounds. A firearm loaded with 3 rounds of 9mm calibre was recovered from the deceased. N.B. Missing Voices was unable to confirm the circumstances that lead to the death.
