The Director of Criminal Investigations confirmed police killed two people in Nairobi at Adams Arcade on February 9,2022. He said police on patrol were attracted by a parked motorcycle bearing an obscured registration plate, followed by a sudden tussle between two youthful men and members of the public. The deceased allegedly defied police orders to surrender and engaged police in a gun fight. The duo escaped on a motorcycle before police caught up with them and shot them dead. A pistol, three mobile phones and a Rolex wrist watch were recovered from the deceased. N.B. Missing Voices was unable to verify the circumstances that lead to the death.
