Four friends, all young men went missing on different days in June, but later on June 19 they were all discovered dead. Three bodies were retrieved from Lari Forest, Kiambu County and one from Magadi,Kajiado County. Kasarani Police boss say they are investigating whether the four were running an online fraud scheme that they used to con unsuspecting people. Their deaths, especially the manner, pointed out at security agents. Obare’s body was found in Magadi, Kajiado county and taken to the City Mortuary, Nairobi by police officers from Kiserian Police Station.
