According to Citizen TV, the death of 29-year-old James Nungu Nziva alledgely occurred after a stray bullet from a police officer attached to Pangani police station hit him on November 9, 2021. It was reported that police were pursuing a mobile phone snatcher when the accident occurred along Juja Road in Nairobi County, Mlango Kubwa. The deceased’s wife said he had just called him to pick their child from school only to be told her husband has been shot dead. The Independent Policing and Oversight Authority (IPOA) has commenced investigations into the killing.
