According to Missing Voices sources, Dono Yayo a bodaboda rider was shot on January 29, 2022, around 9 am at his door while entering his house in Mowlem Tononoka area. The deceased’s wife heard the commotion and shooting. The officers were not known by name but they are allegedly from Mowlem police station. The OCS of the station said it was mistaken identity as they were tracing snatchers. He died on the spot and the body was taken to the City Mortuary. Reached for comment on phone by Missing Voices, acting Nairobi Police Commander James Mugera did not comment on the case of Muchuha and Yayo.
