Bullets fired at close range hit Shee Amadi Shee's head, damaged his brain and killed him, a postmortem report shows.
Shee, 21, lived in Likoni.
Likoni police shot him dead on Thursday noon, witnesses said.
Police allege he wanted to attack them with a panga.
The autopsy, which MUHURI witnessed on Friday, showed three bullets struck Shee, two of which were removed. One is stuck.
Shee was riding a motorbike in Likoni with two others who were not hurt.Police allege they are members of a criminal gang. MUHURI does not condone criminal acts but demands that police must make arrests and not executions. They should investigate and bring to book criminal groups attacking Likoni locals. MUHURI asks the Independent Policing Oversight Authority (IPOA) to probe this shooting and act against culpable officers.
