According to Missing Voices’ sources, Abednego John Munyau was shot dead in Mathare by a police officer allegedly attached to Pangani Police Station on May 6. Nairobi Police boss James Mugera told Missing Voices the shooting was as a result of a mistaken identity. Munyao was heading home from work during the 8 PM incident when he was shot 3 times at Amana Petrol Station. It was reported that the police shot him by mistake of another person, the police told them that they will take care of the postmortem.
