According to Daniel Kinuthia’s family and witnesses,he was called from his house by people suspected to be police officers who were believed to be in a Toyota Probox on January 19 that was parked outside his place of residence. The car was spotted in Kiambu County, Murera village on the day he went missing. He is said to be friends with Charles Muchuha whose bodies were found dumped together along Kabarnet-Iten road in Elgeiyo-Marakwet county on January 25. An autopsy report by Dr Wangari Wambugu shows he died from strangulation. Had injuries in the kneck and head.
