Former Mlolongo OCS Stephen Lelei, senior sergeant Fredrick Leliman, and Sergeant Leonard Mwangi in court on Thursday
Four police officers including two who were charged with the murder of Mavoko 3 in 2016 have denied commiting another murder.
The four are accused of jointly murdering Peter Mutua Musyoka on June 2, 2016 at unknown place in Machakos County.
Machakos High Court Justice George Odunga granted them Sh 500, 000 bail.
They include chief inspector Stephen Lelei (former Mlolongo OCS), senior sergeant Fredrick Leliman, Sergeant Leonard Mwangi and police constable Wilson Kimani.
The alleged murder came three weeks before IJM lawyer Willie Kimani and his client, together with a taxi driver were abducted in Mavoko after attending a court session.
Their mutilated bodies were found dumped in Oldonyo Sabuk river in Machakos County a week later.
The case is still in court pending judgement. Today marked six years since the incident occured.
