Lazarus Tirop

Lazarus Tirop was a 40 year old cobbler and a father of four. On July 6, 2020, according the news reports, police officers were harassing a boda boda for not wearing a mask. It is reported that Tirop intervened and protested the harassment when he was shot and killed. His death sparked community outrage and community members protested and set the OSC’s house ablaze.
